Polytechnic School is a K-12 independent school located across the street from Caltech in Pasadena, California.

The study of computation and digital technologies is fascinating in its own right, and increasingly important as our world has grown to embrace technology. We believe that students benefit from having a strong understanding of how computers work, how they are programmed, and the impact that algorithms have on our society. Our mission is to assist students in developing their appreciation of the computer as a tool—for calculating, for communicating, for creating, for doing business—and to provide them with opportunities to develop their own skills in these areas.
